Jay Pauley is a Managing Director and helps lead MDP’s Technology & Government Team. Jay brings over 18 years of private equity investing experience across a range of technology enabled industries. Prior to joining MDP, Jay was a Managing Director at Summit Partners where he sourced, executed, and managed investments in high growth companies. Jay’s previous board and investment experience while at Summit Partners includes: FineLine Technologies (acquired by L Squared Capital Partners and Leonard Green Partners), Grand Design RV (acquired by Winnebago Industries, NYSE: WGO), Harvey Performance Company (acquired by Berkshire Partners), Metrotech (acquired by Audax Partners), Parts Town (acquired by Berkshire Partners and Leonard Green Partners), QAD, Redzone (acquired by QAD), Vivint Smart Home (NYSE: VVNT; later acquired by NRG) and Vivint Solar (NYSE: VSLR; later acquired by SunRun). Prior to Summit, Jay was a Vice President at GTCR and an Associate at Apax Partners.
